June 1.2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,June 1,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Gipson,and Nielsen were <br /> present. Council Members Hatloe,Stonecipher,end Overstreet were <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 25,2005 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Olson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded.by Council Member j <br /> Olson to concur with the appointments of Robin Ashley and Dean <br /> Thomas as police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Hedoe,Stonecipher,and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office and Mayor <br /> Stephenson presented then/with their badges. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Iles requested an executive session regarding two litigation <br /> matters and one labor matter. <br /> The City Council meeting recessed for an executive session and <br /> reconvened. <br /> 153 <br />
