June1,2005 <br /> Fourth of July Parade on July a,2005,7 a.m.to 3 p.m.,sponsored by <br /> the Everett Jaycees. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Halloo.Stonecipher,and Overstreet who were excused, <br /> • <br /> Motion carded. <br /> RESOLUTION—GREEN FEES <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to adopt Resolution Nu.5620 adopting a green fees rate <br /> structure for the City of Everett municipal golf courses effective on <br /> or before July 1,2005. <br /> Susan Francisco,Parks,stated that Pros Consulting was hired earlier this <br /> year to develop recommendations to improve the operations and financial <br /> stability of the City of Everett's golf courses. Thisrate <br /> adjustment, <br /> proposed by Pros Consulting,is the first step n restructuring golf <br /> in <br /> Everett. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to emend the revolution to include a nine-hole rate for <br /> juniors. <br /> Everett Douglas,13931 Kenwanda Ddve,Snohomish,requested the <br /> City's consideration to make annual passes available to non-residents. <br /> Jeff Cornish,5616 13t Avenue,Snohomish,recommended that golf <br /> rates be kept simple and affordable to draw more golfers to the courses. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson to a end the resolution to define weekends as being <br /> Saturday and Sunday. <br /> 155 <br />
