(. <br /> July 13,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,July 13,2005 in the Cly Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Heaoe,Gipson. Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher end Overstreet were present. Council Member Olson was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 6,2005 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Members Ham and Stonecipher abstained <br /> from the vote and Council Member Olson was excused. <br /> CC.116 <br /> President Krell stated that there were representatives from the <br /> Washington State Department of Transportation available today to answer <br /> questions regarding the upcoming 1-5 project. 1 <br /> Michael Conon,WSDOT project director for the 1-5 project,SR 526 to US <br /> 2,explained that this is a large project and has been awarded to Atkinson <br /> Construction and CH2M HILL. He introduced team members and <br /> explained that they would be available to answer any questions today or in <br /> the future.The project will take three years to complete. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Joel Start,2929 Colby sAvenue,thanked everyone involved for their <br /> support during the July 4 events and especially those that put forth extra <br /> efforts in light of the problem with the fireworks barge. <br /> Mayor Stephenson end Council Member Hatloe thanked Joel for his <br /> dedication to this event. <br /> 208 <br />
