July 13,2005 <br /> Pollution Control Facility Expansion,Phase A Project,In the amount <br /> of S906,825.00. <br /> Council Member Gipson brought forth a question regarding miscellaneous <br /> office engineering aspensas. <br /> Tom Thetford.Public Works,explained that this item needs to be brought <br /> before the Budget Committee and asked that it be tabled. <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet,seconder:•y Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to table this item until It can come before the Budget <br /> Committee. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberOlson who was excused. <br /> Motion caroled. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—VORIZON PROPERTY REZONE <br /> President Krell opened a public hearing regarding a proposed ordinance <br /> to rezone a Verizon property from.C-1 with contract"to"C-1",and voiding <br /> the'Agreement Concomitant to Rezone". <br /> Gerry Ervine,Planning,explained that this rezone would remove the <br /> conditions on the property and the zoning would remain C-1. The <br /> property is currently a parking lot located on Casino Road adjacent to the <br /> Dunn Lumber Company.Pictures of the property were shown.The Land <br /> Use Hearing Examiner has recommended approval of the rezone and no <br /> one has voiced objection to the rezone. <br /> Michael Morgan,applicant representable,voiced that Verizon is in <br /> concurrence with any recommendations. <br /> 210 <br />
