July 27,2005 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—COUNCIL BILL 0507-37 <br /> President Krell opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No.0507- <br /> 37,a proposed ordinance to update the City Floodplain Management <br /> Program and Regulations by amending the Zoning Code. <br /> Gerry Ervine,Planning,stated that the City of Everett has been involved in <br /> the flood Insurance program since t978 and the Federal Emergency <br /> Management Agency and the Department of Ecology do periodic reviews <br /> of the City's program. He explained that the City is changing the flood <br /> plain regulations to implement the changes recommended by both FEMA <br /> end DOE and adopting a new flood Insurance rate map sodas. <br /> President Krell invited public comment.There was no response. <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO 0507-37 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE of the Clay of Everett updaing the City <br /> Floodplain Management Program and regulations by <br /> 248 <br />
