August 20,2005 <br /> RESOLUTION—FOOD SERVICES OF AMERICA <br /> Moved by Council Member Hatter,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to adopt Resolution No.5558 approving the amended �.. <br /> and restated development agreement between the City of Everett, <br /> Rinker Materials,and Food Services of America,Inc.' <br /> 'This motion reflects the inclusion of updated materials. <br /> Dave Tyler.Planning,gave a brief background of the initial agreement <br /> with Rinker Materials and Food Services of America.He stated that the <br /> proposed amendments include the conveyance of an additional 37.9 <br /> acres to be used for park purposes;creation of additional small lots for <br /> development,including a PUD substation;use of metal building materials <br /> subject to the Planning Director's approval;additional commercial uses in <br /> the retail nodes; and the requirement for certain landscaping <br /> improvements for retail uses would be eliminated for lots in the retail <br /> nodes. <br /> Dave commented that the attorneys for Food Services of America had <br /> made a last minute request for the addition of an applicability section <br /> under part 1 of the agreement.
