September 7,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,September 7,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell, Olson, Hellos, Gipson, <br /> Stonecipher.and Overstreet were present Council Member Nielsen was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 31,2005 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Hatloe abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> VIS TORS <br /> Mayor Stephenson recognized State Senator Jean Berkey and State <br /> Representative Mike Sells,33.District,for their support of cur community <br /> and their district <br /> CO NCIL <br /> Council Member Gipson slated that he attended a Philippine,bmedcan <br /> Festival at Legion Park. <br /> He also commented that the City of Issaquah recently passed ordinances <br /> regarding restrictions on housing for level two and level three s <br /> ex <br /> offenders. He quartered whether City staff would review Issaquah's <br /> ordinances to see if they could be incorporated Into our municipal code. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session regarding a litigation <br /> matter.The session Is expected to last approximately 10 minutes with no <br /> anticipated announcement to follow. <br /> 290 <br />
