September 21,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,September 21,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall,President Krell presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Melsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Alexander Gaston,Boy Scout Troop 18,led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 14,2005 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Overstreet abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> The minutes of the September 18,2005 special City Council meeting <br /> were approved as printed. Council Members Gipson and Overstreet <br /> abstained from the vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet expressed disappointment at not being <br /> available to attend the special council meeting on September 16,2005 <br /> with the Tulalip Tribes. He reported on his attendance ata Combined <br /> Sewer Overflow Board of Director's meeting in Washington,D.C. <br /> Council Members Stonecipher and Hadce stated that they attended a <br /> ribbon cutting ceremony for the Port of Everett's Pigeon Creek Trail. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher reported that she attended the Mayor's <br /> Advisory on Diversity Committee meeting. <br /> Council Member Halloo commented on the special council meeting with <br /> the Tulalip Tribes. He stated that this was the conclusion to a long <br /> process,and thanked Council President Krell,Mayor Stephenson,Mark <br /> Seine,Jim Iles,and Ned Johnston for their many hours of hard work. <br /> Council President Krell stated that she attended the Women's Tea at the <br /> Senior Center on Sunday. <br /> 312 <br />
