October 19,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was celled to order at 0:30 <br /> p.m.,October 19,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 12,2005 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed October 17-21,2005 as"Business and <br /> Professional Women's Week." Tony Ray,President of the Greeter <br /> Everett Business and Professional Women,accepted the proclamation. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed October 22,2005 as"Marching Band <br /> Day."Mike and Michelle Doubrava,Cc-Chairpersons for the Puget Sound <br /> Festival of Bands,accepted the proclamation. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Hilary Hager,1321 Lombard,expressed w increased <br /> regarding in ased <br /> criminal activity in the Donovan neighborhood and requested the City's <br /> assistance. <br /> Captain Lineberry,Police,stated that the Police Depadment Is aware C <br /> the problems and that they are working with the Community Prosecute'••r <br /> an effort to make changes in the area. <br /> 341 <br />
