November 30,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,November 30,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Krell presiding. Upon roll call:t was found that Council <br /> Members Krell,Hadoe,Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Overstreet <br /> were present. Mayor Stephenson end Council Member Olson were <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Hams led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 23,2005 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet stated that he attended the Festival of Trees <br /> event at the Everett Events Center. <br /> Council Member Gipson suggested that an ordinance regarding street <br /> closures for festivals in downtown Everett be brought before the Council in <br /> the near future.He also requested a follow up to last year's 4.of July <br /> fireworks celebration and remarked that there is$50,000.00 in the <br /> hotel/motel fund that could be used for next year's event. <br /> APPOINTMENT—COUNCIL MEMBER PRO TEM <br /> Council Member Krell stated that the City Council will not have a goon. <br /> for the December 5,2005 council meeting. <br /> Moved by Council Member Krell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to appoint former Council Member and City Attorney <br /> Mark Seine as council member pro tem fora special City Council <br /> meeting to be held December 5,2005 at 8:30 a.m. <br /> 399 <br />
