December 14,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,December 14,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall.President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. <br /> City Attomey Iles led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the December 5,2005 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Members Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,and <br /> Overstreet abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson announced that the City of Everett has been <br /> recognized by the Water Environm..del Federation with an Outstanding <br /> Achievement in Water Quality Improvement Award for its Port Gardner <br /> Outfall Program. He thanked Robed Waddell, Utilities, for his <br /> involvement. <br /> The Mayor remarked that he attended the annual Christmas dinner at the <br /> Senior Center served by the Everett Police Association and a holiday <br /> gathering for board and commission members. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Members Krell,Gipson,and Nielsen reported on their attendance <br /> at the National League of Cities Conference in Chadotle,North Carolina, <br /> last week. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested two executive sessions;one following citizen <br /> comments regarding a labor matter which is expected to last <br /> approximately 10 minutes,and one at the end of the council meeting <br /> regarding three real estate matters and one litigation matter which Is <br /> 416 <br />
