January 4,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,January 4,2008,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hell,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hatioe,Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher <br /> and Overstreet were present Mayor Stephenson was excused. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the December 28,2005 City Council meeting were <br /> approved es printed. Council Members Roberts,Hatloe,end Nielsen <br /> abstained from the vote. <br /> OATHS—COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Judge Odell administered the oath of office to Council Members Roberts, <br /> Hallos and Nielsen. <br /> MAYOR <br /> lI PROCLAMATION <br /> Council President Stonecipher,in the Mayors absence,proclaimed <br /> January 11 through 16.2008 as°Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.Days."She <br /> presented the proclamation to Mary Ellen Wood,Martin Luther King <br /> Committee. <br />• <br />• AP POI NTM EN TSIREMOVAL <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to concur with the following appointments/removal: <br />• Planning Commission <br />• <br /> Appointment of Gene Ovornick to Position No.5,Planning <br /> Commission,fora six-year term ending December 31,2011. <br />
