January 11,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> am.,January 11,2006 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call It was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson,Gipson, <br /> Mclean,Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present Council Member <br /> Hetloe was excused. <br /> Council President Stonecipher requested an executive session regarding <br /> e personnel matter following the pledge of allegiance. The session is <br /> expected to last approximately 10 minutes with an anticipated <br /> announcement to follow. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> The City Council recessed for an executive session and reconvened. <br /> The minutes of the January 4,2006 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson stated that Larry Crawford resigned yesterday as Chief <br /> Administrative Assistant He requested the City Councifs approval on the <br /> appointment of Jim Iles to the position of Chief Administrative Assistant <br /> and Peter Camp as Interim City Attorney. <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to concur with the appointment of Jim Iles as Chief <br /> Administrative Assistant and Peter Camp as Interim City Attorney. <br /> 5 <br />
