January 25,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,January 25,2006 In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call ft was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. Council Member <br /> Hague was excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 18,2006 City Council Retreat and City <br /> Council meeting were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH—POLICE OFFICER <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to concur with the appointment of Brett Galley as a new <br /> police officer. <br /> Roil was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberHatlos who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered his oath of office and Mayor <br />• <br /> Stephenson presented him with his badge. <br /> Mayor Stephenson thanked Council Members Roberts,Olson,Nielsen <br /> and Stonecipher for their presence in Olympia yesterday. <br />• TRANSIT SCHEDULE CHANGES <br /> Paul Kaftanskl,Transportation Services,stated that them will be one <br /> change to the proposed February,2008 Transit service changes.
