January 25,2006 <br /> Council President Stonecipher requested that the City Council be kept <br /> apprised of staff recommendations and plana regarding traffic and parking <br /> issues in the area. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Nielsen stated that he attended a tour of the former <br /> Rainier Brewery sponsored by Historic Everett. The building is under <br /> reconsbuction as a work/live area for artists. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his attendance at the Minority <br /> Achievers Fundraiser Event sponsored by the YMCA.He also attended a <br /> Bioscience Day Program. <br /> Council Member Gipson requested that consent item no.3 be moved to <br /> the action nems. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Camp requested an executive session regarding two labor <br /> matters,one personnel matter and one litigation matter.The session is <br /> expected to last approximately 40 minutes with no anticipated <br /> announcement to follow. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5723 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against Ore City of Everett In the amount of <br /> 51,508,391.58 for the period of January 7,2008 through January 13, <br /> 2006. <br /> 19 <br />
