C <br /> March 22,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,March 22.2008.in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hetloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 15,2006 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson introduced ana mergency ordinance regarding the <br /> repair of the SW Sewer Interceptor. <br /> Jim Miller,Utilities,stated that the emergency ordinance Is necessary in <br /> order to obtain materials and labor Ina timely manner to repair a sewer <br /> main break which occurred on Sunday. <br /> RESOLUTION—SW SEWER INTERCEPTOR <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to adopt Resolution No.5793 declaring an emergency <br /> regarding the repair of the SW Sewer Interceptor. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COOL <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported on his attendance at the Nadonal <br /> League of Cities'Advisory Council. He remarked that page 8 of this <br /> week's'Nation Cities Weekly'has an adicle explaining the issues and <br /> functions which the Advisory Council dealt with. <br /> 76 <br />
