May 10,2006 <br /> BID AWARD-2006 PAVEMENT MARKING <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen that the contract for the 2006 Pavement Marking project be <br /> awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder,Rope Rile, <br /> Inc.,Auburn,WA,based upon their unit prices bid extended for an <br /> estimated total of$33,439.00 as received at the bid opening held a12 <br /> p.m.,April24,2006. <br /> Roll was Ovewho walled rstreet lall council <br /> excus�members voting yes except CouncilMember <br /> Motion cabled. <br /> AGREEMENT—OUTFALL PROTECTION STRUCTURE/SMITH ISLAND <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional services <br /> agreement with Reid Middleton in the amount of$27,566.00 for the <br /> design of an outfall protection structure located at Smith Island. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—FORESTRY MANAGEMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to authorize the Mayor to sign a professional services <br /> agreement with Fairweather Forestry In the amount of$65,000.00 for <br /> forestry management end consulting services. <br /> 133 <br />
