May 24,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m..May 24,2008 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Stonecipher presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Council <br /> Members Roberts,Olson,Hatice,Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Overstreet <br /> were present Mayor Stephenson and Council Member Gipson were <br /> excused. <br /> Coundl Member Overstreet led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 17,2006 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Hatloe abstained from the vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Stonecipher announced several Park Department events <br /> that will be held on June 10,2006;the grand reopening celebration of the <br /> Forest Perk swim center,the dedication of the Mike Jordan sculpture at <br /> the Everett Performing Arts Center,the Mukilteo Boulevard flower <br /> planting,the Forest Park animal farm will be open,and the Seattle <br /> Outboard Association's hydroplane races at Silver Lake. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Johnston requested an a:eecutive session regarding one real <br /> estate matter and four litigation matters.The session is expected to last <br /> approximately one hour with no anticipated announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Michael Wright,11624 511r Avenue SE;end Courtney Burgin,11525 19. <br /> Avenue SE,expressed their concerns regarding the Impacts of the 86527 <br /> road widening on the Silver Lake Childcare Center. <br /> 146 <br />
