June 21,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,June 21,2006 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Olson. Hatloa, Gipson, and <br /> Stonecipher were present. Council Members Roberts.Nielsen and <br /> Overstreet were excused. <br /> Mayor Stephenson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 14.2006 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> panted.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Gipson requested that consent agenda item no.2.to <br /> approve the closure of Hewitt Avenue fora Street Party,be moved to the <br /> action items. <br /> Council President Stonecipher suggested that the presentation from the <br /> Charter Review Committee be postponed until the Vice Chair arrives. <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Reflects approve the following consent item: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5780 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> 66,502,887.97 for the period of May 27,2006 through June 2,2006. <br /> 174 <br />
