July 19.2008 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,July 19,2006,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hell. <br /> President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll cell It was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson.Hattce,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen.Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present <br /> Council Member Hatloe led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 12,2006 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Stonecipher abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson announced that he received a phone call from Senator <br /> Patty Murray stating that$500,000.00 has been included in the Federal <br /> Discretionary Fund Request for 2007 for the remodel and expansion of <br /> the Everett Senior Center.He stated that$60E000.00 in federal fund rig <br /> hes also been allocated for the City of Everette transit system. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet stated that Everett Trans@ has coordinated <br /> bus route no.4 to nal from Everett Station to the tee Street Boat Launch <br /> for travelers to Jetty Island. <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that he attended,at the invitation of <br /> Senator Dave Schmidt,a demonstration by the National Guard's 82ie <br /> Engineering Battalion at the Yakima Firing Center. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> 208 <br />
