July 28,2008 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,July 26,2006 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberta.,Olson,Halloo,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 19,2006 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that he distributed a packet of information <br /> to the council members that included a resolution addressing the <br /> reduction of green house gases. He requested that the resolution be <br /> placed on the council agenda for next week. <br /> Council President Stonecipherstated thatthe City Councilwill be holding <br /> s ueodretat of the yearthis afternoon from <br /> fd opubrom noon unil 5 p.m.at theFutureof Flight Museum.She invited the <br /> public to attend. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Johnston requested an executive session regarding a real <br /> estate matter.The session is expected to last approximately 10 minutes <br /> with no anticipated announcement to follow. <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to approve the following consent item: <br />• <br /> 216 <br />
