us <br /> Roll was called with all council mAugemtbe2,rs2coring yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION—LEADERSHIP IN ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> DESIGN PROGRAM <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to adopt a proposed resolution implementing the United <br /> States Greenbuild Council's "Leadership in Energy and <br /> Environmental Design"(LEED)Program. <br /> Council Member Roberts gave an overview of the proposed resolution. <br /> Council Members Olson,Hatloe and Gipson expressed concern regarding <br /> the proposed resolution's relevance to policy making at the City of Everett <br /> and the impacts of its mandated roles and regulations on City staff.They <br /> questioned whether the City of Everett's current programs are effective in <br /> meeting our environmental stewardship. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hatice to table this item until such time that Administration has time <br /> to canvass the City's departments to see what programs are <br /> currently in effect. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Overstreet,Roberts and Nielsen who voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council President questioned whether the Mayor would set a lime for <br /> Administration to report back to the council on what Is currently being <br /> done at the City.Mayor Stephenson stated they would come back to the <br /> council with an inventory by the end of the year. <br /> 242 <br />
