September 27,2005 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported on his attendance at a National <br /> League of Cities'Summit on Leadership Development. <br /> Council Member Roberts commended the Mayor and Pat McClain for their <br /> efforts regarding higher education. <br /> Council Member Gipson thanked the Parks Department for bringing <br /> agenda Item no.5,proposals for the design and construction of the <br /> Wiggums Parc Skate Perk,to the council. <br /> Council Member Hetioe encouraged the council members to attend the <br /> National League of Cities'leadership conferences. <br /> Council Member Nielsen reported on his attendance at the premier of the <br /> Bayside Neighborhood's film regarding Clark Parc and a ceremony in <br /> recognition of the newly acquired Northwest Neighborhood Park. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher stated that the Everett Silverfips Bret home <br /> game of the season is slated for this Friday and encouraged everyone to <br /> attend their games. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Johnston requested an executive session regarding a real <br /> estate matter.
