• <br /> October25,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,October 25,2008 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett Cay <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call It was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts.Olson,Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 18.2006 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Members Gipson and Overstreet abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed October 28,2006 as"Marching Band <br /> Day.° He presented the proclamation to Mike and Michelle Doubrava, <br /> Cascade High School Bend Boosters. <br /> C UNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts remarked that he had provided the council <br /> members with invitations to attend a Sustainable Development <br /> Conference.He stated that he attended the Riverfront presentation open <br /> house and workshop. <br /> Council Member Gipson reported on his attendance at the F.A.I.R. <br /> Steering Committee in San Antonio,Texas.He stated that they would like <br /> to hold a conference In the City of Everett. <br /> Council Member Olson stated that he and Council President Stonecipher <br /> have panicipated in a number of regional transportation forums regarding <br /> high capacity transit needs and highway and roads needs in our region. <br /> He remarked that a presentation by the Regional Transportation <br /> Investment District staff and the Sound Transit staff has been scheduled <br /> for November 25,2006. <br /> 322 <br />
