November 9,2006 <br /> A special meeting of the Everett CRY Council was called to order at 10:30 <br /> a.m.,November 9,2006 In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Olson,Hagoe,Nielsen,and <br /> Stonecipher were present. Council Members Roberts,Gipson and <br /> Overstreet were excused. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 1.2006 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson announced that the Cultural Commission's Richard <br /> Wendt Award Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m.tonight at the Monte Cristo <br /> Hotel and that there will be a free CSO Dance at the Senior Center from 1 <br /> p.m.to 6 p.m.,November 11,2006. <br /> STORM REPORT <br /> Dave DeHaan,Director of Emergency Management,gave a brief report <br /> regarding the effects of the recent storms on the City of Everett. He <br /> stated that there was limited flooding at Rlverfront and Rotary Parks but <br /> that there has been no reportable damage of City property at this time. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Nielsen and Stonecipher stated that they along with <br /> Council Member Olson attended a Rail Volution Conference and would <br /> give their reports ata later date. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Johnston requested an executne session regarding one <br /> litigation matter and one real estate matter.The session is expected to <br /> 341 <br />
