November 22,2006 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council wes called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,November 22,2006 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hallos,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher end Overstreet were present <br /> Mayor Stephenson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 15,2006 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Members Roberts end Hellos abstained <br /> from the vole. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR HOUSING AND <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to concur with the appointment of Peter Sentra to <br /> Position No.11,Advisory Committee for Housing and Community <br /> Development,fora six-year term ending December 31,2012. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> REPORT—POLICE GUN RANGE <br /> Police Chief Schad gave a brief report in response to Council Member <br /> Oisen's request at the November 15,2006 council meeting regarding the <br /> feasibility of restricting hours of use at the gun range. He stated that <br /> hours of operation at the range have been on Tuesdays from 9 a.m.to T <br /> p.m.since 1995.The City of Everett's 18t police officers are required to <br /> train and qualify each quarter.The tactical unit(SWAT)and the regional <br /> narcotics task force also use the range on a minimal basis.He stated that <br /> 384 <br />
