January 17,2007 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked Mayor Stephenson,Pat McClain and <br /> Doug Levy who met with various legislators to discuss a four-year college. <br /> Council Member Overstreet requested that Paul Kattanski,Parks Director, <br /> commend Park employee,Tami KoDer,for her efforts in scheduling fields <br /> for 62 soccer teams at Kasch Park last weekend. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Enid Lottuis,9220 Holly Drive M1,expressed concern regarding plans to <br /> close Holly Vista Mobile Home Park at the end of May,2007.She stated <br /> that the homeowners should be compensated for the loss of their homes, <br /> and requested that the City Council reject the proposed rezone of the <br /> Property. <br /> CAA Iles,Administration,reminded the council members that this matter <br /> has been heard by the Hearing Examiner and,that to the extent that it is <br /> rezone,R is a quasi.ludicial matter,and the council members should not <br /> have any exparte contact regarding the maser. <br /> Donna Kerns,2232 61`t Street,spoke in regards to a workshop on <br /> portable readerboard signs which was helu at the January 10,2007 <br /> council meeting. She expressed concem regarding two businesses who <br /> have been given permanent permits for their reederboard signs and <br /> questioned why she was the only business owner invited to the workshop. <br /> Council President Stonecipher suggested that the Planning Department <br /> hold another workshop regarding sign regulations and invite business <br /> owners who may be interested. <br /> 15 <br />
