February 21,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m.,February 21,2007,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall,President Stonecipher presiding.Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson,Halloe, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. Council Member <br /> Gipson was excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the February 14,2007 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> OC UNCIL <br /> Council Members Roberts and Stonecipher extended their condolences to <br /> the Gipson family for their loss. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> June Robinson,616 Wetmore,Executive Director,Housing Consortium of <br /> Everett and Snohomish County,expressed concern regarding the need to <br /> diversify housing that Is available In the City of Everett and to look for <br /> ways to include affordable housing for people at all income levels. <br /> Will Knedlik,P.O.Box 59,Kirkland,requested that the City of Everett <br /> instruct its statutory representative to the Sound Transit Board of <br /> Directors,Mark Olson,to pursue a modification to the proposed'Sound <br /> Transit T plan to extend light rail to Everett's central business district. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to approve the following consent items: <br /> 59 <br />
