April 11,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,And 11,2007 In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hail, <br /> President Stonecipher presiding.Upon roll cell it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson,Council Members Roberts,Olson.Rayon.Gipson.Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 4.2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Members Olson and Stonecipher abstained <br /> from the vote. <br /> �YOR <br /> PROCLAMATION—ARBOR DAY <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed April 11,2007 as Arbor Day in the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> Shannon Affholter accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Parks <br /> Board. He stated that the Board is excited about the direction of the <br /> Parks Department end continues to seek opportunities to make our perks <br /> first class. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported that Mayor Stephenson was elected <br /> Vice President of the Puget Sound Regional Council. <br /> He also mentioned that he attended the Everett Explosion basketball <br /> game last evening which was a good game. <br /> Council Member Nielsen commented that he and Council Member Olson <br /> attended the Puget Sauna Regional Council's annual Vision 2020 awards <br /> ceremony where the City of Everett received an award for Everett's <br /> Downtown Plan. <br /> 113 <br />
