June 6,2007 <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Ned Johnston,City Attomey,requested an executive session regarding a <br /> personnel matter to last approximately fifteen minutes at the close of the <br /> meeting with no announcement to follow. <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5907 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,010,408.31 for the period of May 19,2007 through May 25,2007. <br /> RESOLUTION—ELECTRONIC TRANSFER <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5908 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved electronic transfer claims against the City of Everett in <br /> the amount of$3,941,573.26 for the period of April 1,2007 through <br /> April 30,2007. <br /> MERRILL CREEK PARKWAY SIGNALS PROJECT—BID REJECTED <br /> To reject the sole bid received for the Merrill Creek Parkway Signals <br /> Project from Valley Electric In the amount of$827,190.00 as it <br /> exceeded the project budget. The bid opening was held May 22, <br /> 2007. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 188 <br />
