June 27,2007 <br /> CITIZEN COMMENT <br /> Craig Sheets, General Delivery,expressed concern regarding the <br /> transport and sale of drugs by the Navy,the railroads,utility trucks and the <br /> DEA(Drug Enforcement Agency). <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5912 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $4,261,325.62 for the period of June 9,2007 through June 15,2007. <br /> RESOLUTION—PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5913 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of 52,986,960.92 for the period ending June 9,2007. <br /> STREET CLOSURE—FOURTH OF JULY PARADE <br />• <br />• To approve the closure of Colby and Webnore Avenues,23r0 Street to <br /> Wall;Rockefeller,24.to 251"Street,and various cross streets for a <br /> Fourth of July Parade en July 4,2007,July 4,2008,and July 4,2009, <br /> 8 a.m.to 3 p.m.,sponsored by the Lxered Jaycees. <br /> Melt w Scalledtonecipher <br /> ir allo a exc members voting yes except Council <br /> Member s5loneciphertyho was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 206 <br />
