July 5,2007 <br /> AGREEMENT—STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN/CENTER FOR <br /> BATTERED WOMEN <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson.seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to amhodze the Mayor to sign the agreement with Center for <br /> Battered Women regarding the STOP Violence Against Women Grant <br /> No.F06-31103-080 for Fund Year 2006 grant activities In the amount <br /> of$15,d67.00. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Hatloe and Gipson who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—LEGAL REPRESENTATION/INDIGENT DEFENDANTS <br /> Agenda Kern No.16 regarding an agreement with the Association of <br /> Attorneys for the Accused to provide legal representation for indigent <br /> defendants in Everett Municipal Court from July 1,2007 to December 31, <br /> 2009 was pulled from the agenda. <br /> RESOLUTION—200&2013 SIX YEAR TRANSPORTATION <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to adopt Resolution No.5916 adopting the 2008-2013 Six <br /> Year Transportation Improvement Program(TIP)for the City of <br /> Everett. <br /> 3r!an Jones,Engineering,explained that this is the annual update of the <br /> Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan. This Plan shows all the <br /> projects which the city may spend capital dollars on for design,right of <br /> way acquisition,or construction of these protects.This plan is required by <br /> state law;it makes all these projects eligible for any state or federal grants <br /> that become available during the year;and it provides a chance to adjust <br /> the transportation plan according to the citys needs. <br /> 221 <br />
