July 18,2007 <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member Hatloe <br /> that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill No. <br /> 0707-03 and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final <br /> disposition of the ordinance. <br /> AYES: Olson,Ha0oe,Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher, <br /> Overstreet <br /> NAYS: None <br /> EXCUSED:Roberts <br /> Ordinance No.3011-07 adopted. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—COUNCIL BILL NO.0707-04 <br /> President Stonecipher opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No. <br /> 0707-04,a proposed ordinance amending the Comprehensive Plan Map <br /> for a site located east of 21e Drive SE and south 0196•Place SE. <br /> Bob Larsen,Planning,gave an overview of the proposed amendment.He <br /> stated that the property has not been annexed into the City.However,the <br /> applicant has requested the authority to move forward with the annexation <br /> and City Council has approved it. <br /> President Stonecipher invited public comment. <br /> Deanna Meyer,2224 96•Place SE;Julie Carver,Silverwood Condos, <br /> 2000 198•Street;Randy Carver,2000 198'Street;and Patti Verago, <br /> 1901 98•Street SE,spoke in opposition to the proposed amendment. <br /> They expressed concerns regarding the addition of housing in the area, <br /> the need to retain buffers,and the lack of parking. <br /> Moved by Council Member Nielsen,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to close the public hearing. <br /> 250 <br />
