C <br /> August 8,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,August 8,2007 in the Cay Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Hatloe,Gipson,Nielsen. <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present.Council Member Olson was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Hatloe led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 1,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Members Roberts and Overstreet abstained <br /> from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson reported that he attended nine neighborhood National <br /> Night Out Against Crime events last evening.They were a success. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Members Roberts and Overstreet reported that they also attended <br /> National Night Out events and thanked city staff <br /> President Stonecipher announced that Agenda Item No.13,Amendment <br /> 1 to the professional services agreement with Perteet,Inc.and Agenda <br /> Item No.14,Amendment 1 to the professional services agreement with <br /> HDR Engineering,Inc.,would be pulled from today's agenda. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Ned Johnston.City Attorney,requested an executive session at the close <br /> of the city council meeting regarding three real estate matters to last <br /> approximately 50 minutes with no announcement to follow. <br /> 274 <br />
