October 10,2007 • <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,October 10,2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Hellos,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. Council Member Krell was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 3,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> MA OR <br /> Wendy McClure,Office of Neighborhoods,invited all to attend the 13. <br /> Annual Monte Cristo Awards Ceremony October 11a. There are 60 <br /> winners this year and a special recognition award.She thanked Deborah <br /> Wright for her efforts. <br /> COUNClh <br /> Council Member Gipson reported that he attended the National League of <br /> Cities National Summit in San Antonio.Youth and families was the focus <br /> of the meeting. <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked all who were involved in the Sustainable <br /> Energy Fair sponsored by Green Everett,Snohomish County PUD,the <br /> City of Everett and others.It was a great event <br /> He requested that staff and legal counsel review annexation procedures <br /> with regard to Paine Field.There is a proposal by the City of Mukilteo to <br /> annex <br /> oares <br /> me areas. <br /> report h <br /> Mayor <br /> Stephenson stated they will work with Council <br /> 330 <br />
