Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Krell,Hallos,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Overstreet were present, <br /> Council Member Krell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 10,2007 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Knell abstained from the vote. <br /> • MAYA$ <br /> Mayor Stephenson announced that there will be a pedestrian trail <br /> planning meeting for Silver Lake and Thodon-Sullivan Park at 7 p.m.. <br /> October 18,2007 in the Weyerhaeuser Room at the Everett Station. <br /> UPDATE—POLICE STAFFING <br /> Gerry Burke,Police,gave an update on the status of staffing in the Police <br /> Department.He Introduced Jim Coma,a new police officer. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,xcendad by Council Member • <br /> Roberts to concur with the appointment of Jim Coma,as police <br /> officer. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion cabled. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered his oath of office and Meyer <br /> Stephenson presented him with his badge. <br /> 336 <br /> r <br />
