Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Krell,Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 17,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as pdnted. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed October 27.2007 as"Marching Band <br /> Day'. <br /> Mike Doubrava accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Cascade High <br /> School Band Boosters and thanked Mayor Stephenson and the City <br /> Council. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Stephenson announced that a Goblin Splash will be held this <br /> Friday,7 p.m.,at the Forest Park Swim Center.Donations of canned food <br /> are encouraged and will be taken to the Volunteers of America. <br /> The City's new golf management company,Premier Golf Company.has <br /> received recognition for its efforts to hire people with a variety of <br /> disabilities. <br /> DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM UPDATE <br /> Teresa Cox,Prosecutor's Office,related facts regarding two cases of <br /> domestic violence In our region that both resuded in homicide/suicides. <br /> She related significant statistics regarding domestic violence.
