October 31,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,October 31,2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Krell,Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Stonecipher and Overstreet were present.Council Member Nielsen was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Krell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 24,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> President Stonecipher announced that the meeting will start with Agenda <br /> Item No.3 this morning. <br /> RESOLUTION—MARK A.NESSE READING ROOM <br /> Moved by Council Member Krell,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to adopt Resolution No.5954 naming the Downtown <br /> Everett Library main reading room the"Mark A.Nesse Reading <br /> Room". <br /> Larry O'Donnell,3310 Grand Avenue,President of the Board of Trustees <br /> for the Everett Library,talked about Mark Nesse's achievements and <br /> services to the library and community over the past thirty years.He stated <br /> that Mark meets all the criteria set forth in the naming resolution.He also <br /> stated that Isabelle E14inge asked that her support for this resolution be <br /> related to the city council. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberNielsen who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 354 <br />
