October 31,2007 <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported that Vision 2040 is in Es final review <br /> stage. He thanked Allan Giffen,Planning Director,and Paul Roberts for <br /> their work on this vision plan. <br /> Allan Gillen stated that the Puget Sound Regional Council is in the <br /> process of updating what was originally adopted in 1990 as Vision 2020 <br /> and updated again in 1995.The horizon is now being extended to 2040. <br /> As a Sty there will be an opportunity to provide additional input into the <br /> final draft at the beginning of the year.The final plan w;'be adopted in <br /> the spring. <br /> Council Member Hahoe and President Stonecipher also thanked Council <br /> Member Krell for serving as a pro tern council member. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Ned Johnston,City Attorney,requested an executive session at the close <br /> of today's meeting regarding a real estate matter and a personnel matter <br /> anticipated to last thirty minutes with no announcement to follow. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5955 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $954,329.99 for the period of October 13,2007 through October 19, <br /> 2007. <br /> 361 <br />
