November 28,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was caiied to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,November 28,2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon mil call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Nielsen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 21,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Overstreet abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Gipson requested that the Budget Committee research <br /> the formulation of a policy regarding priority in hiring local professional <br /> service firms. <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported that the National League of Cities <br /> Advisory Council has done some work regarding anew <br /> scanning feature <br /> that will be used to disseminate various publications. <br /> President Stonecipher noted that agenda item no.5 will be pulled from <br /> today's agenda. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Ned Johnston,City Attorney,requested ann <br /> executive s at the <br /> conclusion of todays eeong regarding a Mitigation matterto last <br /> approximately thirty minutes with no announcement following. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to approve the following consent Items: <br /> 392 <br />
