December 5.2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,December 5,2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson:Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hadoe.Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Oversbeet were present. <br /> Council Member Hallow led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 25,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH—POLICE OFFICERS <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the City Council's concurrence regarding <br /> the appointments of Mark Nelson,Travis Kater,Stephen Ross and <br /> Christopher Reid as new police officers. <br /> Police Chief Schad introduced the new police officers. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to concur with the appointments of Mark Nelson,Travis <br /> Ratter,Stephen Ross and Christopher Reid as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The City Clerk administered the oaths of office and Mayor Stephenson <br /> presented them with their badges. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> President Stonecipher announced that a special joint meeting with <br /> Community Transit was held this moming and a cooperative service <br /> agreement was signed. <br /> 401 <br />
