December 12,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,December 12,2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Hatloe led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the December 5,2007 Everett City Council joint special <br /> meeting and regular meeting were approved as printed. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts reported that he attended an Association of <br /> Washington Cities legislative sub committee meeting regarding climate <br /> change. <br /> Council Member Overstreet commented that the Everett Yacht Club's <br /> holiday boat parade was a huge success this year.He suggested that It <br /> might be an opportunity for the city to promote a boating festival. <br /> President Stonecipher reported that she attended the Everett Chamber of <br /> Commerce Gala where Mayor Stephenson revalued the Henry M. <br /> Jackson Chizen of the Year Award. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Ned Johnston,City Attomey,requested an executive session at the <br /> conclusion of today's meeting regarding four real estate matters to last <br /> approximately thirty minutes with no announcement following. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to approve the following consent Items: <br /> 410 <br />
