January 2,2008 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett Ctty Council was celled to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,January 2,2008 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall.President Nielsen presiding. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> Judge William Baker administered the oaths of office to Council Members <br /> Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher end Attholler. <br /> President Nielsen welcomed Council Member Affholter. <br /> Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Stephenson;Council Members <br /> Roberts.Olson,Gipson,Nielsen,Stonecipher,and Affhclter were present. <br /> Council Member Hatloe was excused. <br /> The minutes of the December 24,2007 Everett•City Council special <br /> meeting were approved as printed.Council Member Attholter abstained <br /> from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the City Counbiih Concurrence,regarding <br /> the following appointments:Planning Commission-Donald Chase for a <br /> six-year term and David Hall as eltemale fora six-year teen. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to concur with the following appointments: <br /> Planning Commission: <br /> Appointment of Donald Chase to Position No.1 fora six- <br /> year term beginning 1/1/2008 and ending 1213112011 <br /> 1 <br />
