January 16,2008 <br /> Alec Schmidt,1284 Hill Street,Mukilteo,questioned whether the City <br /> intends to specifically hold the potential Japanese Gulch developer to the <br /> same restdctlons that it did on the development of the Intermen property. <br /> Council President Nielsen suggested that Mr.Schmidt contact City staff <br /> regarding his question. <br /> The council meeting recessed and reconvened. <br /> Allen Campbell,17114 103'a Place NE,Smoke Falls,invited everyone to <br /> attend events featuring Andy Andrews,an author and corporate speaker. <br /> in Everett on February 29 end March 1,2008.The net proceeds from <br /> both events will go to Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in <br /> their effort to build a state-of-the-art research facility. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Hatloe to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5979 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett In the amount of <br /> 51,020,991.17 for the period of December 29,2007 through January 4, <br /> 2008. <br /> BID CALL—EVERETT ANIMAL SHELTER <br /> To approve a call for bids for the Everett Animal Shelter project to be <br /> received no later than 2 p.m.,February 26,2008. <br /> ROTI was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> 17 <br />
