February 13,2008 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> arn.,February 13,2008,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Nielsen presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephanson and Council Members Olson,Hadoe,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher and ABholter were present. Council Member Roberts was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the February 6,2008 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Affholter abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> Mayor Stephenson requested the City Council's concurrence regarding <br /> the reappointment of David Ramstad to the Historical Commission. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Gipson to reappoint David Ramstad to the Historical Commission, <br /> Position No.1,fora six year term beginning January 1,2008 and <br /> ending December 31,2013. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Robeds who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> EMPLOYEES RECOGNIZED <br /> Bill DeRousse, Fleet Maintenance Superintendent, recognized city <br /> employees,Wayne Maland,Bob Cadson,end Bruce Haugen for the <br /> exceptional leadership they have provided in the Motor Vehicle Division. <br />• <br /> 41 <br />
