February 20,2008 <br /> LRA.If the council determines that the City should become the LRA,a <br /> resolution will be brought forth for their consideration asking the <br /> Department of Economic Adjustment to designate it as the LRA. <br /> Amanda Fagen stated that the Oswald Army Reserve Center was <br /> selected for closure as part of the 2005 round of base realignment and <br /> closure.She stated that the process takes approximately 18 to 24 months <br /> from the determination of surplus to the completion of the redevelopment <br /> plan. She explained the steps involved in the process.
