March 26,2008 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> JOB COMPLETE—GRAND AVENUE PARK RENOVATION <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to accept the Grand Avenue Park Renovation project as <br /> complete and authorize the Mayor to sign a certificate of completion <br /> which will begin the 60-day retention period prior to the release of <br /> retainage in the amount of$17,177.41 to the general contractor, <br /> Schwetz Construction,Inc. <br /> Council President Nielsen questioned why this project is being accepted <br /> as complete when there is still considerable work being done on the site. <br /> Paul Kananski, Parks, explained that the contract with Schweiz <br /> Construction is complete.Work Is being done under separate contracts to <br /> install the'Compass Rose",a decorative railing,and preparation of the <br /> ground for turf restoration. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT—TRAFFIC STUDY <br /> Moved by Council Member Afiholter,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to authorize the Mayor to sign the professional services <br /> agreement with Gibson Traffic Consultants for a traffic study of the <br /> Broadway Corridor from 37.Street to SR 526. <br /> 86 <br />
