• <br /> June 17,2008 <br /> A special meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,June 17,2008 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Nielsen presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Council <br /> Members Roberts,Olson,Hatloe,Nielsen,Stonecipher and Aftholter were <br /> present Council Member Gipson joined the meeting later. Mayor <br /> Stephenson was excused. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 11,2008 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts commented that following today's city council <br /> meeting he would be attending the Association of Washington Cities' <br /> meeting. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Jim Iles,City Attorney,requested an executive session regarding a real <br /> estate matter to last ten minutes with no announcement following. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br />• <br /> To adopt Resolution No.6031 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $2,347,657.01 for the psrfod May 31,2008 through June 6,2008. <br /> 181 <br />
