August13,2008 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING—COUNCIL BILL NO.0807-35 <br /> President Nielsen opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill No. <br /> 0807.35,a proposed ordinance amending Ordinance No.2021-94,as <br /> amended.amending the Comprehensive Plan Map designation from 4.1 <br /> (Neighborhood Business)to 4.4(Mixed Use Commercial—Mug Family) <br /> and a rezone from B-1(Neighborhood Shopping)to B-2(Community <br /> Business)with a development agreement for a property located east of <br /> Silver Lake at the NE Comer 08190 Avenue SE and 11e Street SE. <br /> Council Member Gipson questioned ifthere is a need for truck deliveries? <br /> Bob Larsen stated there was ncem regarding fleet parking and <br /> lessening impacts to residential areas. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson to allow delivery trucks. <br /> Motion died for lack of second. <br /> President Nielsen indicated that this rezone Is crafted to facilitate <br /> restaurant alcohol sales. <br /> Council Member Stonecipher indicated that there may be a bigger issue. <br /> She voiced concem that we create exceptions.She stated that there may <br /> bee need for an additional zone,a neighborhood restaurant designation. <br /> Other coundl members supported this. <br /> President Nielsen asked for caner comment.No one responded. <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts,seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Hatloe and Affholter who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 270 <br />
