August 27,2008 <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Jim Iles,City Attorney,requested an executNe session regarding two <br /> litigation matters to last approximately twenty minutes at the conclusion of <br /> today's meeting with no announcement following the session. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Marilyn Rosenberg,2410 Maple Street.asked for follow up regarding her <br /> recent request to look at a more bicycle friendly downtown. <br /> President Nielsen responded that on today's agenda there is proposed for <br /> authorization a professional services agreement relating to design and <br /> development ofa Bicycle Mastrr�Plan.There has also been discussion <br /> with regard to bicycle racks downtown.He indicated he will be bringing <br /> forward a suggestion that the coy padicipate with business owners In the <br /> purchase of bike racks. <br /> CONSENT ITEM <br /> President Nielsen pointed out that with regard to agenda Item no.4,there <br /> has been an updated route and the motion will reflect that. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Affholter to approve the following consent Items: <br /> RESOLUTION—CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.9051 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,587,389.60 for the period of August 9,2008 through Augo rt 15, <br /> 2008. <br /> 286 <br />
